We offer a flavoursome menu influenced by the colours and richness of Greece with both Greek and more familiar English pub favourites, always prepared fresh and to the highest standards and from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Enjoy the rich flavours of Greece in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside. On Saturdays and Sundays we serve our famous Greek style weekend grills of slow cooked lamb, chicken or pork served with Greek oven roasted potatoes and vegetables and can be accompanied with Yorkshire puddings too!

The Anchor Pub Dine at Dome Experience
Whether it’s a romantic date, an anniversary celebration, a night out with friends our guests can remain in their own social bubble and enjoy a meal in one of our exclusive domes. Attentive staff will be at your service and the air purifying heaters will keep you warm in your small private function room. The domes are set up right on our beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the garden. The subtle ambient lighting will create the most unique experience after dark and you can make it even more distinctive by bringing your own music with you!

The Anchor Pub is located in a calm village of Tillsworth, Bedfordshire, next to the A5. 4 miles east of Leighton Buzzard, 10 miles north-west of Luton and 12 miles south-east of Milton Keynes.

Staff are so friendly, was assisted quickly everytime and
checked upon throughout! The food was amazing including the children’s
food! Thank you for a lovely time.
Sunday lunch
30 July 23. Had a family lunch, 7 adults 4 children. Really enjoyed our meal , very relaxing atmosphere septet children present. All meals brought out swiftly ,all very tasty. Sadly rain set in so we couldn’t stay longer in the garden with the kids . Will definitely be recommending the anchor to friends .

Celebrating 30th in Comfort and Style
Really super evening celebrating our son’s 30th. The dome was
cool enough even on a hot evening – so comfortable and great service, food
and drinks. Enjoyed listening to our own playlist and even charging our
phones! (And the 3 year old in our party had the best night too, playing in
the garden and making friends!)
We were so happy with our visit yesterday. Our waitress was Ashley and she was so lovely, so polite and helped with every little thing we needed

Salty Pork Chop
Hi folks , pork chop, mash and fries far too salty for our
taste, everything else was great.
Shame as you are on our doorstep and we are looking for an additional local
but sorry not this time.

Fantastic pub. Amazing food. Lovely and relaxing garden for
children to play in. We were in one of the domes which was a wonderful
experience.
The food was excellent again. Everything was delicious and
cooked to perfection. Service was provided by Chloe who was very friendly and

Went in the pods for New Years Eve treat and it didn’t disappoint. Great food and service, we had our own little party in the pods.
We went New Years eve for a late lunch in the dome.
It was raining very heavily when we were there and we were very impressed with the staff who went to so much trouble to make sure we were happy.

The food here is so good I’m almost reluctant to leave such a great review so there is more food for me! In all seriousness, this is the most beautiful food and the people are lovely, making your experience all the better. The domes are a lovely addition for a more private and special occasion. Food is good good value and quality, staff very friendly. We will be returning. The cost to hire the dome is high and only for a real treat, although it was a good experience. We will be back to eat but in the restaurant area rather than the dome.
We hired a dome for birthday celebrations for my brother and sister in law. The service and food was faultless and we had a great evening – would really recommend hiring a dome for a special occasion!
First time in a dome for dinner and it was so magical. Didn’t
expect a blutooth speaker in there either. Food and servive was excellent.

My missus 35th birthday meal in a dome
Me and the missus drove 40 miles to get here so my missus could have a meal in the dome for her 35th birthday, she’s been dying to try the domes for ages. Price are really good , portion size are amazing , atmosphere is brilliant, lovely setting and surroundings . Our waitress Elise was brilliant couldn’t have been more helpful and was really attentive, she did a brilliant job in the pouring down rain all evening. Elise told us when we got into the dome the only reason you move is to go toilet and that is exactly what happened. The domes are worth the money just for the experience, the heater was perfect inside , very comfortable seating, Bluetooth speaker is a great idea so we could listen to our own music while eating , the food is next level honestly I can say this is the best food I’ve eaten in forever . Highly recommended to everyone, we will defo be returning even tho its an hour drive for us but totally worth it . Thanks again to everyone for and perfect evening to my missus birthday especially Elise she was brilliant all night . Thanks Dave & Steph

We asked for a gap between starter and main,unfortunately that didn’t happen. Food was delicious and hot, large portions. Loved the dome experience.
Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the experience of the dome,the food was amazing and very quick being brought out to us. Our waitress elles was so polite and very helpful, which helped our experience more enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this to anyone and will definitely be returning ourselves. We had a lovely time. The Dome is great. A heater provided
warmth – or air con if too warm.There was a misic pod so we could stream our
own music. Food excellent and lots of choice. Greek and English. Very
generous portions. Service excellent and very friendly. The pub looks lovely
and has a huge garden and outside lit seating also. The domes are well placed
for privacy. Very cosy with great lighting. Many thanks to all there.
Outstanding
Well this was first time we have been and I can assure you it
won’t be the last, we found the food outstanding,
the service was outstanding to we had a Dome in the garden and staff were
brilliant the distance they to walk every time they served us but friendly
each one
