About the restaurant
From Nottinghamshire reared Beef to Oxton Carrots, Ye Olde Bridge Inn sources as much of its ingredients from local suppliers and from the surrounding fields. Vegan and Vegetarian food is part of their core menu development. You wont find the standard ‘pasta’ options with them! Where possible, gluten free alternatives to all the dishes are offered. From the tastiest Pizza Dough to the homemade Gluten Free Yorkshires.

Dine in a dome
The restaurant is known for being open all year round. However, it is the first time when you can enjoy the beautiful 360 degree vistas of all four seasons. The domes are a perfect setting for any special occasion: be it a birthday party, anniversary or a night out for two.
Ye Olde Bridge Inn features three cosy outdoor domes that can accommodate up to 8 guests each. In October 2023 we’re introducing new, extra large dome, that can host up to 14 people. All domes are equipped with De’Longhi heaters and Bluetooth speakers, allowing the guests to play their own music.

Great experience
The dome was just right for 13 of us (not sure how comfortable it would be with any more than that) and it was clean and well set up. Very warm (in direct sunlight) but we were able to turn the heaters off and leave the door open to cool down.
The call button is a great idea and service was prompt. One dessert was forgotten, but we called and queried it and it was brought out very soon afterwards.
Would definitely recommend for a group – round table is ideal for chatting.

Whole experience in the dome was lovely, food beautiful but just want to make a special comment and thank you. We all came with my mother in law who has Alzhiemers, the main server, a young lady was absolutely fantastic with her, kind, chatty and took some of the random things my mother in law would say with a pinch of salt particularly when she said she looked 40 years old (she clearly didn’t!!) I can’t fault this lady enough and thank her for her patience, banter and consideration shown I’m just sorry I can’t recall her name
Excellent night had by all. Food was amazing and service was really good and attentive bearing in mind a number of the party were Gluten free. Only downside was that Pub had run our of Non alcohol Guiness but in fairness they explained why and it did not upset our evening. We have been as few times and twice in the Dome. Never a bad word or experience. Thank you to the Team.

Birthday meal done dining
The service we had of our host was amazing . It was pouring with rain and she did a fantastic job . The food was great apart from one of the puddings which was very hard . We spoke to the hostess and she dealt with it straight away

We booked the large dome for my mums 60th birthday. What a great evening had by everyone. Will 100% be booking a dome again. Service was great, the staff were so lovely and attentive. My daughter has to eat a low in fat diet so after speaking with the chef Steve he made her a low fat pizza which she was so chuffed with. The food was absolutely delicious and those that hadn’t been here before said they would definitely return.

Absolutely amazing environment I came with 6 of my friends. We had a fantastic night food was fantastic even my gluten-free option. The staff were amazing especially our waitress Ruby she went about and beyond 5 ***** service from her. We will be definitely booking the dome again.
Absolutely wonderful
We hired a dome for my mums birthday and I wanted to take her cake in and make it a centrepiece before she arrived, I called ahead and was impressed by how friendly and accommodating the lady on the phone was. Upon arrival I experienced excellent service and the staff helped me make it really special. The done itself is fairly expensive but well worth it for a special occasion. The food was exceptional and excellent value for money – the portions were huge. Cocktails were delicious and throughout the evening the staff were attentive and friendly.
I can honestly say I can’t remember the last time I experienced such high quality food and service in a lovely atmosphere. All of us will return.

Great experience, something different. The food was great and the service was outstanding we didn’t need to use the call button as the staff were always there when we needed them. The dome was a great idea for a birthday party giving you a private area but still having the pub atmosphere I was also able to take my dog and he was able to freely wander inside the dome whilst we had our meal instead of sitting under a table. Would definitely go again

we went for a birthday meal with family , it was just what we wanted, as the family don`t live near each other it made it really special to have our own space , the food was excellent as was the service, and it was a busy Saturday evening, could not fault it , the whole family enjoyed it.

Booked in last night for a dine in a dome and was amazing. Food was unreal with service to match. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the whole done experience had been throughly thought through with heating, speaker, LED lights and a waitress call button. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Family Celebration at The Dome Restaurant
We had a wondeful time, meal and services last night. Would highly recommend the large dome if you want all the family to be together. It was a unique way of having a meal to celebrate my husbands 40th, but also allowed for the kids to make as much noise as they wanted+play with out disturbing any other customers.
Thank you to Ruby and the other lovely ladies you were fantastic and nothing was too much. Honestly 5 star service.
Thank you to all the Chiefs/cooks in the kitchen for a scrumptious meal, needless to say all plates were empty.

Amazing dome dining
My family and I have visited here a numerous of times, but last night was our first time in the dome. Amazing scenery and lovely food. The dome was lovely and clean and was warm on entry. There is several lights and a portable bluetooth speaker for customers to play their own music. Great and friendly service, and the food was lovely and fresh.

Fantastic night in one of the domes,
slight mix up with the bookings, but was soon rectified. Setting was so
pretty and food was delicious, one slight thing we couldn’t get coffee
after 10pm, which wax a shame as we all wanted coffee, but just a minute
thing. Fantastic night all round
Celebrated our anniversary in a dome, just the two of us. Lovely romantic setting. There was no need to wrap up like we did, as inside was cosy with heating, ambient lighting, fairy lights, a blue tooth speaker and a waiter call pad. All staff were pleasant and polite. The food was delicious and plentiful – no room for pudding this time! We were surprised with a card and a happy anniversary sign from the team, a lovely, much appreciated gesture. The only fault, it’s minor, was that there was no lighting in the car park at the time of our visit and it was incredibly hard to see. There are some potholes, one that my crutch and foot happened to find, luckily my husband steadied me before I fell.
A special birthday in the dome
My friends and I had a fantastic evening in the large dome for my birthday party. Everyone commented on how different and amazing the dome was. It was lovely and toasty on a cold winter’s evening with the heaters on. The service (including the dome call button), food, drinks and atmosphere were all fantastic and the domes looked really magical. Thank you so much for helping to make my birthday so special.

Top Notch Experience at New Big Dome
Where do I start, right from booking
of the venue. The number of times I called to make amendments thru to the
food, service . Everything was amazing and top notch. I am glad to have been
there with my 12 other ladies in the new big dome. Definitely coming back and
the ladies were in love with everything.

We really enjoyed our family dining experience to celebrate a
special birthday. The only problem to be aware of is in hot weather there’s
no air conditioning & the dome became like a greenhouse even from 5pm. I
would be reluctant to hire a dome in hot weather again, but will try in the
colder months as there’s heating.

Fabulous Service and Cozy Atmosphere
Service was fabulous, dome was great to have a little privacy
whilst still in the bustling atmosphere of a busy country pub. Lovely in the
blue skies, came alive in the dark when lights on. Small plates were lovely,
better than the mains.

Had a fantastic night attending the Dome Dinning. Staff were
attentive, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely attend

Great Food and Service in a Dome
Had a great evening for my friend’s birthday in a dome. It was sunny, so it was very hot! However, the food was nice & the service was good. The only problem was that they didn’t have scampi & that’s what my husband normally has.
Service was excellent, from all staff (and we had a few looking after our dome). Very impressed with the button service too.
Music outside was loud enough to be heard over our blue tooth speaker, which was a shame to have 2 lots of music going (hence lower mark for ambiance).

Celebrating Special Birthday at Pod
Had a lovely evening for my partner special birthday hired a pod
which was an amazing experience food was amazing and the staff were so
brilliant and couldn’t do enough can’t wait to come back
Excellent Food, Delayed Service
Food was excellent. Use of the dome was nice despite the heat.
Unfortunately we waited over an hour for the food which even though it was
busy seemed too long and affected the use of the dome. No issues with the
staff who were lovely.

I celebrated my 80th birthday in a pod at the Inn. It was a
lovely way to enjoy the family together in a private space but with great
service and food. I would definitely recommend it.

The Pod was great
We enjoyed the Pod, great idea for private dining. Whilst the
young waitresses were very pleasant we felt they were a bit inefficient, some
minor issues which could have easily been avoided. Roasted vegetables in my
flat bread main very undercooked.

We hired the dine in a dome for mothers day. The experience in the dome was unique and really enjoyed it. It was warm and we played our own music which was a nice touch.
We all started with cocktails, I wouldnt recommend the cocktails for the price of 9.50 each.
Food was beautiful, service was efficient and quick with friendly staff, we had a buzzer in the dome so didnt even have to get up to order anything.
Would definitely recommend for special occasion, would even book with a few friends on a nite out.

We had lunch in one of your domes which was lovely. As we had two young children with us it was ideal for them to be able to play in the playground while we were waiting for our meals. The food was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Hope to be back soon.

Not that much choice with the food menu, both stuck to pick something. Service was good, knocked a few stars off just down to missing a few drink orders but overall service was good.

The Dining Dome’s are a fabulous addition to the venue. They have pretty much thought of everything with a personal buzzer to request service meaning you get amazing privacy but are not neglected. Connecting your own phone to the supplied Bluetooth speaker so you can choose your own soundtrack is a great idea too. The food was absolutely amazing – faultless what more can we say. The charge for the dome makes it a little extravagant for just a couple (but worth it for a special occasion like ours was) but if you have a group of 8 it’s pretty much less than the cost of a drink each. A unique experience that is also dog friendly if needed which is great too. Cannot recommend these highly enough

Twinkling fairy lights, blankets , heaters and our own Bluetooth speaker made the experience quite unique.
